We are looking for a Mid-level PHP (Symfony or Laravel) Developer to fill one of our open positions. We are a fast-paced, dynamic, quality-oriented, and growth-oriented company with engineers mostly in Eastern Europe (Belarus and Poland) and the United States (California). The client's team is located in the United States.
The team members you will be working with are located in Minsk, Belarus and multiple cities of the United States. It is a Russian and English-speaking team.
Job Description:
We are looking for a strong Mid-level Engineer for this position. You will work in a team of 5 people. Our primary requirement is for a PHP Symfony or Laravel developer who also knows how to create normalized MySQL database structures and write optimized complex SQL queries. The candidate should have 2+ years of commercial experience. Additionally, you will be working with simple front-end user interfaces and you either need to have experience or want to learn one of the popular client-side SPA frameworks like React, Angular or Vue (we use Vue, but it should be simple to switch from any of them) - you don't have to know them now, but it will be required to learn one of these frameworks.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who knows how to get things done and deliver on time and bug-free solutions. This attitude is more important for us than the skills below. Even if you think that you don't have some of the qualifications below, but you are still confident that you can handle the delivery (by quickly closing the knowledge gaps) - you are a perfect match!
Required:
- 2+ years of commercial experience in web development.
- PHP + Symfony or Laravel with at least 2 years of experience.
- MySQL or other comparable RDBMS and the ability to learn required one in short time.
- Intermediate English (B1-B2) (constant communication with a client will be required).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred but not required:
- React / Angular / VueJS for client-side SPA development
