WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable and high-performance backend services using Python, FastAPI, and Django
- Utilize Pandas for data manipulation and analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and data scientists, to define and implement solutions
- Participate in the design, development, and optimization of our core systems
- Work on performance tuning and API optimizations
- Build and maintain data pipelines for real-time analytics
- Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, code reviews, and team collaboration
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must-have qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience with Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI or Django
- Strong expertise in working with Pandas for data manipulation and analytics
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Experience with in-memory data stores such as Redis
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good software/solutions architecture skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
Good-to-have qualifications:
- Familiarity with Apollo Server
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as React or React Native
- Investment or finance domain knowledge
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with APM tools such as Datadog or similar
