We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer, who will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing automated tests against the currently in development iOS mobile application
Responsibilities:
- Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process for new features, with an eye toward testability
- Build an automated systems for the primary application and correcting any errors when implementing a solution
- Write reports and documentation that explain the implantation and value to project stakeholders
- Test and monitor automation systems
- Partner with developers and business owners to triage and create defects.
- Perform smoke tests to ensure successful releases
- Write detailed and easy to understand bug reports
- Provide consistent communication regarding testing status to both the Engineering and Business teams
Skills and Competencies/Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of working as a Quality Assurance professional in Agile working environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience using Appium and or Selenium testing for native iOS applications
- Practical knowledge of native iOS Automation using XCTest represents an advantage
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential to success
- Ability to pick up new responsibilities quickly
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors
- Experience with the Agile methodology and regression testing
- Understand how to read a test plan and execute test cases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who can work independently as well as in team environment
- Solid understanding of iOS native features
